International Seminar

The Access to Medicine Foundation is an international, not-for-profit organisation addressing access to medicine worldwide. The foundation publishes the Access to Medicine Index, an index that ranks pharmaceutical companies according to their efforts to improve access to medicine. In 2011, the foundation wanted to organise an international seminar to inform key players about relevant developments in the field of measuring companies’ contributions to access to medicine.

In cooperation with the Access to Medicine Foundation, we developed the programme and content of the international seminar. Our tasks included drawing up and fleshing out the programme, devising a promotion strategy, maintaining contacts with important partners, booking and briefing speakers and chairing the seminar itself.

The seminar was a success and attended by representatives from 16 international organisations: pharmaceutical companies, governments and NGOs. Speakers represented, among others, McKinsey & Company, the WHO, ABP and HEC Paris. The participants found the seminar to be very stimulating.
